Pact Swap Labs is the primary development contributor to the Pact Swap Protocol and the founding team behind its design and build.
Pact Swap Labs is the primary development contributor to the Pact Swap Protocol. It operates as an independent development house responsible for contributing to the design, build, and maintenance of core components of the protocol, including smart contracts, infrastructure, and integration tooling.
Pact Swap Labs was founded by a group of individuals with experience across blockchain infrastructure, digital asset markets, and large scale system development.

The founding team includes, but is not limited to:
Brock Pierce
Entrepreneur and investor known for co-founding Tether, Block.one, EOS Alliance, Blockchain Capital, and Mastercoin. Brock has played a key role in the early development of the digital asset industry and has served as Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation. His experience spans capital formation, ecosystem development, and global crypto adoption.
Toby Gilbert
Co-Founder of Coinweb and an experienced entrepreneur with prior exits. Toby has led the development of Coinweb’s interoperability infrastructure, including reactive smart contracts and deterministic cross chain execution. He has previously founded and scaled companies such as Blockfort and OnRamp, and has been deeply involved in building infrastructure across Web3.
Scott Walker
Co-Founder of DNA Fund, with over 50 blockchain investments including projects such as Tether and Hedera. Scott has extensive experience in venture investing, capital markets, and advising Web3 projects, with a focus on scaling infrastructure and application layer ecosystems.
Stephen Morris
Investor with a background in corporate finance and public markets, having participated in over 100 technology investments. His portfolio includes projects such as Ethereum, Coinbase, and Eidos. Stephen brings experience in financial structuring, venture investing, and supporting growth stage technology companies.
Gulliver Smithers
Technology executive and former CTO with experience across organisations including Sony Pictures, BBC, and Base79. Gulliver has led engineering teams through multiple successful exits and has deep expertise in system architecture, scalability, and enterprise technology operations.
The founding group combines technical, operational, and capital markets experience relevant to building cross chain infrastructure and scaling blockchain based systems.
It is important to distinguish between Pact Swap Labs and the Pact Swap Protocol itself. Pact Swap Labs contributes to the development of the protocol but does not control or operate it. The protocol is deployed as autonomous smart contracts that execute according to predefined rules, without discretionary intervention, custody of user funds, or reliance on a central operator.
This separation ensures that the Pact Swap Protocol functions as neutral infrastructure, while Pact Swap Labs continues to act as a core contributor to its ongoing development and improvement.
